I can't be the only one who has done this

I cant wait until i am able to say that. I just sent in my Transition paperwork for LVN to RN. I think I am more nervous waiting to see if I get accepted than I was taking the HESI. I really hope I get in!!!

I am still waiting for that moment myself, and yes, I do worry about the state of the economy, and all the stress that I know will greet me once I hit the floor for the first time.

I have been a registered nurse for almost 12 years and can remember the very second I heard that on the phone "Classification: RN" I just had goose bumps from just remembering that now!

When I start to wonder what I was smoking when I decided to become a nurse I think back more years than I like to the two summers I spent with a wheat harvest crew or the uplifting period I spent roughnecking.

i've never done that..but what a wonderful idea! i'll reserve it for when i'm feeling down or unaccomplished, predicting a short wait unfortunately lol

I just got excepted to nursing school and the feeling is trully amazing...and i will totally remember to look back to my posts when times get tough! Thanks for the idea....not that I could forget but just in case this is what i did. After stalking my mail man daily, i emailed addmisions from my school friday the 12th just wondering if they had an idea of when letters would be going out. They got back to me and said i would know in a few days...my heart did a little flip lol! Saturday the 13th, i went out with my family not thinking about the mail because I knew i had a few days. Well I got home saturday night and grabbed the mail...and thier it was my letter of acceptance!! I freaked out and cried and asked my husband to take the kids in the house and I ran with all my heart in the pouring rain down the street to my inlaws (they are like my biggest supporters) When i got there my letter was drenched and i had dropped a piece of paper somewhere on the way...I also noticed that i ran with a full bag of can goods i had bought at the grocery store but forgot to put down over the excitement. It was pretty funny...but what an amazing feeling!
