I`m new here and I`m happy, that I found this site.
I`m 22 years old and a german nurse.
My dream is to work as nurse in the USA, exactly in Pennslyvania.
Currently I don`t work as nurse. I work as Au pair in Dubai, UAE to improve my english.
The last days I was preparing the forms for the CGFNS TEST.
But some people told me, that this test isn`t existing anymore!!!!
Is that true?
How will get a Social Security Number?

Hi and welcome

The exam still exists but a lot of states in the US no longer require nurses to take this exam. Just require you to get CES report. You will also need a visa screen certificate from CGFNS and can apply for it now.

Socail number you can't get until you are in the US and can prove to the social security office that you are in the US legally.

There are a few stickies at the top of this forum which will give you ideas on what to do to work in the US
