I need help. I have seen similar posts. I live in Texas and it's been past 4 years since I've graduated. Texas will not allow me to get my license unless I redo the whole program. Is there another place (state) i can go to? Is there another way? Any suggestions?
Thank you in advance,
Max

Chances are, even if you can take the test and become licensed in another state, TX will not allow you to endorse your license because you don't meet their criteria. Verify with TX that you can become licensed with endorsing from another state before spending your money. You may find you have no other choice but to retake a program.

Or move to another state ...

Texas is a Compact Nursing License state. Perhaps you can go to another compact state and petition the BON to obtain an authorization to test so that you can take the NCLEX.

If I understand compact correctly it only comes into effect when a license has already been issued
