I took nclex this morning. i was shaking the entire time. i sat down and started the test and was surprised at how much i had to guess. so many of the questions were things i just didn't think would be on there. plus there were meds i had never heard of, and i also got a lot of nutrition questions (which i hate) and a lot of select all that apply. so about around questions 50-60 i was like, okay, i'm totally gonna go over 75 because i know i'm missing a lot of these. well at 75 it cut off. my mouth dropped open. NO! COME BACK! I NEED MORE QUESTIONS! i have heard of people who failed at 75, and i'm pretty sure i'll be one of them too. i just feel like there's added pressure, because i already have a job lined up. i don't want to have to call my boss and tell her i failed.

Did you try the pearson vue trick? Lots of SATA could be a good sign! Good luck on getting a good result!

kt424,
I took the NCLEX yesterday. I too had tons of SATA, priority, math, and unknown meds. The meds bugged me so much that I looked them up after I got to the car. I waited and did the PVT this morning, because I figured if I did it on the actual date of the exam, it would'nt let me register regardless of pass/fail. Fingers crossed for both of us.. I got the GOOD pop up.

I feel your frustration kt424 & Kermie!!!!! I also took my NCLEX yesterday--I too am FREAKING OUT!!! According the PV trick I passed too, but we'll see. I feel numb--I'm laying in my bed and I don't wanna do anything. You're NOT ALONE!!! Why isn't there a way to let us know sooner, waiting is dreadful--I wouldn't wish this feeling on my patients!!!!!!!!!
(Does the PV trick work the very next day or is that too soon!?! The status says, sent successfully).

According to others, as soon as it says it was delivered successfully, it is OK to check then. Otherwise its pending at Pearson Vue to be sent to the Board. Good luck!
I'm waiting too, got the good pop up about 20 mins after my computer shut off at 75 questions. Same with me, lots of SATA, meds I've never heard of. Hopefully we'll all have good news soon!

Good luck! I'm taking my nclex-RN in 5 days and I'm freakin out too! I just know that I felt the exact way you did after I took my nclex-LPN and I was absolutely SHOCKED when I had passed! But the truth is, over 80% of the people whose test shuts off at 75 PASS. And the harder the questions are, the better your chances because if you continuously get easy questions AND your test shuts off at 75.. THEN I would be worried. I'm sure you did fine.
