YAYYYYYYYYY.

How many of you are using KAPLAN? Or have tried it and loved it n passed the board exam the first time?

I understand where you are coming from Kaplan is a good program with understanding how to dissect the questions. When are u scheduled to take the boards?

:nuke:I have heard of Kaplan, but most of the girls in my class are using Saunders 4th edition and so far we have all passed. I wish you all well and hope to see that you passed regardless of the method you use!

Thanks. I'm also using saunders

Yup not everyone passes with Kaplan..I hope that you weren't thinking that. I've had tons of people that I enrolled with at Kaplan Fail numerous times. Infact one person that I know stayed with them for 3 whole attempts and still HAS NOT PASSED as of now. It's not 100 % guarenteed to make you pass. But then again i'm not saying that your destined to fail with them lol. Although I am alittle upset being an international student and not having access to their 100 % refund policy..I think it's unfair..paying 600 bucks again that's just BS..I plan on doing Suzannes plan instead..I'm tired of spending money..lol.

i also purchase Kaplan full course plus i did the entire saunders CD (in study mode... the 4th edition cd), ncsbn exams and nclex 3500. my exam stop at 75 with 20-30 SATAs. no results yet because my state board is CA. :pfor me kaplan was far more difficult than the actual exam. plus it really helps when it comes to test taking skills. the saunders CD helps in building your foundation in nursing plus your KAplan course book and BASICS book. (I hate studying SAunders because it's too long and boring to study). i hope this helps!!please follow the program diligently. AND PLEASE dont make absences on your live class. the lecture and inputs on the class really helps especially when answering SATA questions

We had to take Kaplan as part of our cousework in the last semester of school. I like its layout and it has a lot of tricky/difficult questions.

I've been using NCLEX 3500 too. A nice review but those questions are very straightforward content question (which I'm really weak at).

Just starting with a Saunders CD since I've seen Saunders recommended on Allnurses postings a lot.

I've no idea when I'll be "ready" to take the test. I'm going to do questions till I can't stand it anymore then schedule the test. I've pretty much run out of Kaplan questions, so am going to go back and redo the ones I missed.
