I just got back from school orientation...

I drove to Memphis and saw what the area was like and it is no where near as bad as some folks were saying. I am now officially excited about this and I'm anxious to get to January! Now to get uniforms, ID's, get money for books, oh and pass calculus. So much to do. anyone else attend orientation or have a date coming up?

Looks like a nice place to begin, and learn LTC. (I have to say, I like the contrast and text enlargement buttons on the site.) lol

Good luck Jess and everyone else. Jess your program sounds like it runs like mine does. I have thoroughly enjoyed nursing school thus far. I am finished with my third semester this week. 2 more to go...it went sooo fast...seems like I just started it yesterday. I see you are from NE. I grew up there. Born in Maine and raised in Conn. I now live at the beach. Couldn't take the cold winters any longer. (sorry guess I got off subject again...LOL) Anyways...I hope yall enjoy your programs as much as I am and again good luck!

Thanks so much for sharing. I am so excited that I want to enjoy the journey. I know I am dying to be over with school and start my career but it will be over before I know it.

Congrats on approaching the end soon.

I'm in CT but been here for 1.5 yrs only. I was born in Rhode Island but raised in Arizona. I am not used to this coldness :)

I drove by there yesterday as I had no clue where it or how to get there. It is a beautiful place. I think I am going to love it there. :)

Looks like a really nice place. But then again I'm bias...I love Connecticut. I visited there a lot several years ago and almost moved there, but couldn't handle leaving my grandmother behind. (Someone who was very close to my heart lives there :loveya: )

But as they say...God has a plan for each of us. So far I'm liking his change of plans for me. :)

p.s. Love Rhode Island too...Newport is one of my favorite vacation spots.
