I graduated May 11 2019.. took my NCLEX on the 18 of June. I had a lot going on at the time but I thought I was prepared. I did use UWorld, and some of Kaplan. I really need a good study strategy . I am not sure if I am understanding the question or maybe not understanding content well enough. I am so down. I just registered back at Pearson but don’t know what happens next . I can’t get out of my head. All my friends are passing and I feel so awful that I failed.
My school gave us ATI to study and the books that came with it. With those books, my Kaplan and my cram book,I took note cards from each one. I studied with 2-3 friends and we taught eachother. The best thing we did though was download the bvnpt nclex detailed test plan and used that to figure out what to study.
Sounds good, honestly am only using Uworld now,am left with 5weeks to sit my NCLEX,have panicked and had mini heart attacks but now am calm and given myself peace come what may,I work 5days a week and honestly passing will be one big miracle.
But good luck future Nurses our time shall come it's not a race, will get there at God's perfect timing!
Wish you all the best in your studies.
I feel tired and extremely exhausted mentally and physically, NCLEX is no joke but we shall get there.
Thanks
It happens!! You failed to pass. Please don't compare yourself to others. I know it is easier said than done. You are not alone, but I understand what you are going through. The pressure and the sadness is too overwhelming! I believe in you and I truly believe that next time you will be able to overcome this. You already did the hardest part! You passed nursing school!
I also didn't pass NCLEX on my first try so I understand what you are going through. Here are some tips on how I study. I did 75 questions on UWorld each day and went over the rational. Rather than trying to remember every little diseases, side effects meds, I learned how to answer the question between a "first" questions and a "priority" questions. You should also listen to Mark Kliemk lectures! It's free!! He broke some topics down that made me really understand the concepts and helped me answers question based on what the question asked.
If you need anyone to talk to I am always here for you! I know your pain! You can get through this!

You need a NCLEX TEST TAKING STRATEGY REVIEW. Find a good one and attend the review. I took many reviews and they did not help me because I took the exam 21 time yesterday 6/27/19. I think I pass, but waiting for official result.
