I just bought NLN PAX book, how long should I give myself to prepare?

I'm on the website and really close to signing up. The next exam is Nov 29 and there are only 11 seats left. Is that a good amount of time for me to prepare? I've only just started studying.

Thanks.

If you put in some SERIOUS study time, it should be enough. I studied for like 2 months, but I also have children battling for my attention.

Well the deadline isnt until febuary so I have time. But at the same time I want to get this out of the way. I guess I'm just psyching myself out bc I know if I study I will do well. LOL

Edit:

Actually too late now I just signed up! I feel alive right now. and scared lol

Take your time, and study each section. English/reading is really pretty simple if you read books at all. Concentrate on math and science.

You should have enough time if you really dedicate alot of time to studying! Also, if the deadline isn't until February you'll have time to take it again if you don't make the score you want the 1st time!

Well I just did verbal practice questions. I finished in 35 minutes in the allotted 45 minutes and got 45/60 correct. Is that bad? lol Crap I think my verbal is going to be my weakest.

No I don't think thats bad at all! I would really focus on vocabulary though because I was shocked when I took it ... some of the words in the vocab section were insane!

Only way to study for verbal is memorizing prefixes and roots.

Thanks, I'm going to have to strengthen verbal.

I just did a math practice exam and I got all answers correct and I made it in within 30 seconds of the time limit. LOL! go me!
