I love mine too, although:
--one time it switched to a language without the English alphabet in it--I couldn't read the screen or understand the voice...
--sometimes it doesn't know what it's doing (but usually it's VERY helpful)
--the female voice is sooo annoying... "re-cal-cu-latingg"!
--now for some reason it has no voice at all
Overall, for me, the good outweighs the bad, and it's kept me from getting lost quite a few times.
I've never found one I liked for very long. And the maps go out of date so fast.I switched to an Android phone and use google maps and love it. It's an integrated feature on the phone so no extra fees and it's always up to date.
i should try that! however my phone battery tends to run empty sooner rather than later...
just paid for my Garmin map update (yeah) but i would be so lost with out my GPS!
it misses some numbers in the way out rural areas but gets me close enough and always home in the dark!!!!
could not live with out it! and yes the voices get annoying... then i change to Dutch, Spanish, Italian or German or some times Hungarian just for the fun of it but when i am in a hurry i need to get back to Englisch and the brit. English seems to be the best for me, but the female voice is so soft and faint... going with the male most of the time
some one told me they got Homer Simpson on their GPS... wonder how that would be :)

Its a Garmin, only a couple of months old. What a waste of money! All it does is put you on a wild goose chase. I shouldn't have bought one.
