Doesn't mean you failed, you may have passed

When I checked, it wouldn't let me reschedule a test, meaning I had passed. Hope this is the case for you also.
Do you remember how far they let you go before you couldn't do it anymore? I don't want to have to pay for it if by some miracle I passed.
Oh man this is so terrible, I have to fill out paperwork to start a great job tomorrow and if I didn't pass I will lose it

Did you do the Pearson VUE trick where you try to re-register for the exam? If you get a pop-up that says "Our records indicate this candidate has recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. A new regirstration cannot be made at this time." the you passed the exam. If you try to re-register and it allows you to go to the page where you enter your credit card information, then you failed.
Okay the PVT said I couldn't register, but my GVN is gone...A friend of mine tested today and she said the same for her. Who knows!

Then that means you passed!!!!! CONGRATS!!!!!
I did pass! And apparently I was looking in the wrong spot for my GVN because I bookmarked the wrong link! I feel so silly! I was crying for hours and then did the PVT and felt better, I check the following morning and it was posted that I passed then yesterday the Board posted my license. However a friend of my did lose her GVN and failed

Hello everyone! What is GVN? And do we have that in CA?
Thanks

GVN is most likely graduate vocational nurse. Have not heard that term used in CA. The license is issued so quickly that it doesn't make much sense to pay for an interim license when in the same amount of time your regular license is ready.
Thanks! I live in California so we have to put up with the waiting game. It's nerve- wracking. :/
Obviously I live in Cali and I didn't have to wait long, but that was long ago when the government didn't have budget shortfalls to blame for poor service. I had my license in hand in less than three weeks. Nowadays, all you have to do is have the prospective employer verify your new license online, or by fax, or by phone, when you apply for a job. Almost all employers do this, and will allow you to bring the physical license to the HR office once you get it.
