i cannot believe that i have a BSN in my cold clammy hands. its still un real to me...idk when it will sink in hahah
woooo
:yelclap::w00t:
that is all
A few, im a tech at the hospital already, however it's harder to get a job there than you think...apparently they don't just give them away to current employees moving up in the world. Which is ok, I understand, but good gracious.After this week of Kaplan Prep, I just plan on putting on some dress clothes and going into the HR of the other hospitals I applied to and see what I can get. Gotta really sing for my supper now.
But I am optimistic that I'll get a job soon bc having a BSN/RN is pretty prestigious on its own so I know I'm not getting them bc I don't have enough education ( as in needin a masters or greater )
Lol sorry for rambling hahah

Sheesh I understand about your situation as a tech- good luck! I worked as a tech through NS, had awesome performance reviews, aced my interview with my facility for Versant, but didn't get it because I'm ADN.
Good plan to just go to the hospitals. Try to go to individual floors and talk to managers/directors- HR is the roadblock you want to bypass, especially as a new grad. Just let your personality and passion for nursing shine - they want someone who's going to benefit their team. Good luck!!!
CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I'll be posting the same thing in 4 semesters.
Any words of wisdom?
If you aren't doing NCLEX questions now, START! I used Saunders 5th Ed. To help me study for my tests in class. So u get the info drilled into ur head and get NCLEX like qs to help u in the end :)
