I posted in the Pediatric Nursing forums about how I interviewed for a position as a CNA in the ER of my local Children's Hospital and after a few days I found out that I got the job. I'm just really excited about it and I thought I would share it with all my buddies on allnurses.com!

Congratulations, Chris!! :clpty::anpom:
Children's hospital ER... I bet that will be quite a learning experience! I would love to be doing something like that. I am going to be applying (hopefully) for OR soon, but if there's an ER slot open I will jump on it!
What's nice is that I'm working as a ER tech now while I'm in nursing school and I plan on working there as an RN when I graduate so I think it will definitely give me a leg up.
