    version 2

I had to retake the HESI A2 Math and it was the Version 2. Honestly, I really didn't see a big difference at all.

    Relocation Cover Letter

Aww man!!..Thanks for sharing this with me!...I sure so appreciate it!!.:redbeathe..Right now its totally frustrating because eventhough I'm with the same company, we still have to compete with internal and external applicants and go through the same interview process etc. At this point all I can do is try and write a really good letter and if that dosen't work then i will be applying to other companies where I'm relocating to. Thanks again!

    Relocation Cover Letter

Hi Everybody! I was wondering if anyone could provide feedback on providing a good cover letter? I'm currently trying to relocate with my current employer and transfer to a different facility in another city and HR stated that I need to write this cover letter. :uhoh3:Ok, I did search on the internet and saw some sample letters but its better to get feedback from personal experience. I also searched the threads and still didn't see much that was of any help. Any feedback is much appreciated!
  4. Hmmm..that is a new one to me but its also a good one. Can someone explain what this means?...I'm going to start using this one!

    Toledo School of Practical Nursing

Hi there hopefulnurse25!! Yes!!..I turned in my application for March 2012. At first I was going to shoot for January 2012 but I'm moving from Grand Rapids, MI and January is right around the corner. When I dropped off my application packet at the school (man I had to make a special trip that day to do all the testing) , I had been keeping in touch with Jane (very, very nice lady) she had asked if I wanted to start in January because right now it was sort of full and filling up fast. I didn't want to start that soon anyways as I still have to look for a job up there. In the same conversation she did ask if I took my any of my tests (background and drug testing) told her that is why I came up there is to take care of that. She recommend that i take the background check with the Toledo Public Schools as they only do them for $46.00 vs. $85.00!! that was a huge savings and I had gas money to get me back home! The location for the drug testing (at the hospital) and the background check was literrally 2 minutes away from the school. It was not hard to find. When you drop off your packet, I'm pretty sure Jane will be there to answer any questions! Everyone in Toledo is soooo nice! Good luck to you! hopefully I will run into you :)

Please advise on how I should handle this!...

I thought about that but unfortunately the program is from 8:00am-2:30pm and most billing positions are within those hours. It totally sucks. As a CNA, the hours are more flexible and I can probably just work on the weekends. I just have to be more patient I guess. Thanks for you input!!
  8. Hello Everybody! Currently I'm employed as a Medical biller in a hospital full-time (4 years) and I'm also a CNA at a Veterans home on the weekends part-time and I've been a CNA for a year. I'm trying to relocate because I will be moving to Detroit and going to nursing school in Toledo in March 2012. I've been applying for interal jobs for the hospital that I work for as a Patient Care Technician or as CNA (the hospital owns a few long-term care facilities in the city I wanna relocate to). So far I've had no luck after applying for about 3 months now. Every job that I have applied for, I have been denied or saying that its "under review with a recruiter"!!!..I'm soo disappointed because I figured since I'm already employed with the hospital and been work as a CNA with a little experience under my belt, it should be a smooth process! The reason why I would like to stay employed with this company and just transfer is because of my health benefits for my kids, my senority and my retirement benefits etc. Should I just start applying for other hospitals in the city where I would be moving to??....or am I just being impatient and just keep applying?? I know that other companies would offer benefits but I just don't want to start over since I felt like I worked my a** off and held my job for a while now. HELP!!!! Thanks in advance!

Anyone Toledo School of Practical Nursing grads out there?

    BUMP...

You MUST be freaking kidding me!?

Well you are still ahead of the game to only wait 3 months. Not to sell your situation short but some people wait 3 years to get into your shoes. Just try to have patience, it will definately come sooner than what you think and if after 3 months turns into a year or 2, then you would know its time to look for something else.
