Hello, You can apply to the Riverview Institute (oakland Univ) program and be taking the pre reqs! You have to take Math and Pharm there or they wont except it! They DONT EXCEPT FINANCIAL AID!!! And its a very intense program! But jus like any other program youre going to work hard! They expect us to do GREAT so they have high standards for us! I hope everything works out for you! Hello!!!! Class is very STRESSFUL but I am doing well! Whenever I have a problem i make sure I get the help that I need! The A and P is HORRIBLE!!!! the book is G R E A T but the teacher is TERRIBLE! They will be hiring a new teacher so Id say go for it!

To get bumped up you have to have all the funds. I didnt receive my acceptance I e-mailed them telling them I was in the pre req's so really I am not OFFICIALLY in until they see my grades are c's or better (which ofcourse they will be :)!!!! But you should receive your acceptance letter in the mail in 30 days :)

Well ladies, I just finished my meeting and I am getting bumped up to the Sept 2011 cohort! After I finish my pre-req's I have to give them to her and I can start if I meet the requirements (which I will) -Ivey

Hello :) I am taking the pre-requisites to get in now. Im not sure exactly how it works for transferring but you might could get in the Sept 2012. I picked Oaklands program because of three main reasons. The first was I found out about the program in the metro detroit area. The secod reason was because I went to an informational that they have every FIRST Tuesday, At the informational I gained alot of information regarding the program. They have had some very successful students and they really seemed like they cared about their students. That made me feel very comfortable. The third reason was because compared to all the other metro detroit LPN programs they were the cheapest and you dont need to take an entrance exam. I hope I answered your ?.
