I Got I-140 Approval,what is the next step?

Wow. Good for Vermont. How about CA. Any1 here with priority dates of june-july that already got approved?

I'm CA and july and still waiting. They appear to have slowed down

Mine got approved in Texas in less than a month after filing at the begining of October. Anybody know how long it takes to process I-485 please? Does it mean that they will process July priority date before October priority date? or Does it depends on the processing center?

What agency are you with? I'm with OGP who use Vermont for processing and my I140 receipt date was 2 August 2005 (passed NCLEX June). Does anybody know how I can check on USCIS site as OGP won't give out numbers ? Thanks

you need the receipt numbers to check you status online. OGP should give out the number.. you have right to know that.. There is no legitimate reason for the agency to hide it from you..

I am not with agency. A hospital sponsored me.

i also received a emial from USCIS telling me that my 1-140 got approved today. :balloons: my priority date is also on July in Vermont. so excited to recieve the news.

this is great news to me as im waiting to hear and i filed in july ......

maybe there is hope....

then again....

Huh?

I thought they were still processing the March 26,2005.... I'm getting confused because mine was filed last May 2005 and no apporval yet. What is going on with Vermont?

The agency applied for my petition I-140 on July,2005 (Vermont Center).
Today I recieved an Email saying that my case was approved.
What is the next step, and how long it will take untill I get my green card? please help me.

The next thing is you will receive an agent of choice letter asking you who will process you visa application. If your petition was filed by an attorney with an understanding that he will be your agent of choice. Your attorney will receive the visa fee bill. After payment, you will receive your packet 3.
