congrats to you... i am sitting here twiddling my thumbs because the great state of texas is having a party while they should be issuing my gn permit...does it take this long for everyone or just ec students cause this is ridiculous...
nj takes forever also. calling does no good - they got all the power on their side. lpn, rn, bsn, adn.. whatever.. it can take a long time. however, they cash your check real quick!
ps i love your avitar!
they have been wining and dining off my money for weeks.. however, i about had a nervous breakdown on the phone and told the guy they were slow and they loose everything and i am missing out on a $10 hr raise because of their incompetence...my husband was ducking under the table and said "well you will never get it now"...yeah i went and took my xanax....anyway about 10 minutes later he called me back and told me that he found my affidavit of graduation and it should be in within the next several days....
my advitar is just about how i feel at this point...

look on the bright side: you got to apply before you had your diploma in your hands right? i passed my cpne in the beginning of jan and just missed the cut off for the feb grad date. i had to wait until march 20 to even think about applying (my grad date) because fl won't even look at you unless they have an official final transcript with grad date. each state is slow or ridiculous in some way. i'm sorry you are still waiting- it must be any day now! keep studying so you can take the first date that is available!
Wow, I'm actually impressed that the Virginia BON processed me so quickly ... my transcripts were sent from EC around July 12 and I had my ATT by July 17. Of course, that was more than a month after passing my CPNE, but whatever!! I was glad I didn't have to wait for the actual graduation date before I could take the NCLEX, like some states.

And I'm waiting on Pearson Vue to issue my ATT.. the process is killing me but at least 1 step is out of the way. I can't believe EC is real lol... I'm still in denial and it's true that you can sit for the NCLEX in FL (as long as you met the LPN requirement). Since FL is one of those states that disputed with EC over licensing nurses, I was a little paranoid that I wouldn't get my letter! YIPPIE!!!!!!!
:yeah:
