I had to defer last semester. I waited 2 semesters. My GPA is something like 3.8 and I only have a B in Physio, A's for the others. If you dont get accepted, but are an alternate, you will more then likely get in.

Do alternates at all schools work that way? I'm an alternate at both COC and PCC right now and this is my first round of applying so I am unfamiliar with it... :confused:

My total score was a 30, with a 4.0 in my pre-requisites & I applied on the third day of the application period. Hoping to hear good news from the rest of you guys! Can't wait to meet everyone

I received my letter in the mail today as well. I was chosen as an alternate with 28 points. Here's to hoping some spots open up...

I don't know if anyone knows this answer or not but if a spot doesn't open up for the Spring, do I have a better chance at getting in in the Fall? It says on the letter that they retain my name on the Chronological list but not the points list... seems kind of strange. If everyone above me (points wise) gets placed in the Spring it would make sense that I get in for the Fall since they choose the Fall class before everyone updates their applications.

Show up on the first day of class!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There were only two alternates that showed up and they both left early (who knows why)....they actually had to call people to fill seats at the beginning of this semester. Can you believe that?!

Thanks CaGuy! I'll definitely show up. I've already ordered my background check and TEAS study material. I'm hoping to find out before class starts that I've got a spot.
