Hey everyone,
I am new to this site, one of my friends from UCLA suggested that I look around a bit. It is great!
Many of my other co-workers have participated in this summer camp named Camp del Corazon, and when I was having problems fitting in with my new co-workers, one of them suggested I look into participating with them as well. I googled the camp, and when I went to the camp website and was just amazed! They are summer camp soley for children with heart disease, it is amazing what the accomplish. A doctor and nurse from UCLA started the summper camp and they host about 400 campers a summer now. Each year they take a full medical staff with them to Catalina Island for camp, and from what I could tell it is a life changing 5 days. I am volunteering with them this summer along with many of my co-workers, and it looks to be a great time. I can't wait!

They have similar things like that around here (but nothing as nice as Catalina). That is a great opportunity! Good luck.
