WOOOOO I Passed
I ccant belive I passed.
WEll heres my story. Im 22, graduated in MAy 07. I started working immediatly and took my exam and failed at 215 q's. I was devasted but I chugged on and took it again on 10/25 and falied at 158 q's!!! This time I was thru I didnt start studying again in FEb 1, 08 and tok it on FEb 28, 2008 with 85 questions and passed.
Tips
1. BAsically the key to passing is trusting in GOd. You really dont know why things happen the way they do but just know that GOd has a plan for you. JUst trust in Jesus.
2. Kaplan is great I even saw 2 exact same questions on my exam. MAKe sure you do Qt1-7 and start a Rationale book. Each day do one and reveiw over every rationale and write down the ones you dont know ! And yes purchase the Q-BANK!!!
3. Question question question and also the sauders Strategy Book is GReat
4. Ask God to forgive you of all your sins and trust In GOD
YOu can Do it If I Can Im so happy
any questions pm me
As nurses or as future nurses we should know not to judge. The starter of this post obviously believe in God, what's wrong with that? People who believe in God don't blame "Him", instead us believers know that everything happens for a reason. Maybe the poster believed that God gave her the knowledge to pass the test and God is the one who woke her up that day to be able to take the test. That's fine if you don't believe in God but it's foolish to make a comment such as yours, especially when it's directed towards someone personal belief. I would hope that if any of your patients ever say "thank God my test for cancer came back negative", you wouldn't reply with "I highly doubt that god played a part". There isn't anything wrong with believing that God is the one who made passing the test possible!!!BTW, congrats Crystal!!! I will also rejoice in God's name when I pass too.
there is nothing wrong with believing in god, however, as a student standing by the bedside of a deceased, comatosed patient and having to hear a religious person blame god for taking away their family member...is hypocritical. Praising god for doing good and then damning god when things are not good.
I don't have any problems with religion and i repsect it greatly. however, if people just believed in themselves then you will have more faith in yourself, rather then relying on someone or something else.
anyhow, just drop the subject and congrats to passing the nclex.
WOW Thanks everyone for the congrats
TO apex
to answer your question- If i failed again would I have blamed God?
answer : NO, I never blamed GOd for anything, like i said b4everything happens for a reason, everything happen on Gods time. yes i do depend on God for everyhting b/c he is my everything. You are right about haveing confidence in yourself but you MUSt have the confidence that God will see you thru .... God bless
Maybe you should take your own advice and believe in yourself. What's the purpose of asking someone for their qbank scores, like you did in another thread? More than likely for comparative reasons, correct? If one truly believe in his/herself would they need reassurance by comparing themselves to others? Speak about hypocritical!!!
You deserve it, congratulations!!!
I bite the bullet 2morow.
You are so right about trusting God, thats basically what iam doing.
i feel like i can't study anymore, coz i just find out more stuff that i don't know,
and u can't know it all!!! Do i sound confused?Iam!!
But congratulations to u, please everybody keep me in your prayers, 2gether with everyone taking the test monday and tuesday or any other day for that matter, good luck to all.
I might be wrong but I thought as nurses we are suppose to be nonjudgemental. I thought on this site we are suppose to encourage, up lift , and help each other out. I don't think attacking anyone for their beliefs is doing any of the above. Believe in whatever, say what ever, but as for me and my house we will serve the Lord!!!
to APEX,
As a christian, everything that happens whether good or bad is for a reason, everything has a season and a reason, and "all things work together for good for those who love the Lord," i don't know how but the Lord gives u what need when u need it. We as christians "count it all for joy, when the good or the bad happens." If u don't believe in s'thing, u will fall for anything. So lets all just join Cystal in celebrating this victory.

crystal, congrats!!!!
wow, i just joined this website and i have never been as disappointed as i am now that i have read this entire thread.... it is in poor taste to put down someone's religion! why are we even talking about religion on this site? next thing you know we will be talking about abortion, gay-marriage, politics and other controversial issues.... please leave the negative religious statements to yourself... if someone wants to praise god then let them..... if you want to believe in yourself and not give god credit then that's fine too! but don't add threads that put down someone for thanking the lord....
also deetonia, this is a website for support! people ask questions to make comparisons and find the best way to study and what others did to pass! there is nothing hypocritical about asking questions, and how does that relate to god anyway.... funny because all of us are college educated, yet some of us appear very ignorant!
let us encourage each other.... stop researching people previous threads to get dirt to use against them... if this is what this website is all about then it is defiantly time for me to logoff!:angryfire
genny, bsn, mpa
