I Finally Passssssssssssssssed!!!

Published

Well, i want to give you guys some backround before i go further. I haven't been on this forum for such a long time and i am so glad to come back and let everyone know that i finally passed the Nclex PN.

I graduated December 2004 from American Career College in Anaheim, California. I'm not embarassed to tell everyone that this was the 4th time i've taken the damn thing. I've been through a ton of adversity and lots of setbacks since graduating but that didn't stop me from continuing to achieve my goal. To all the candidates for the test and for those who have failed, PLEASE PLEASE don't quit. Remember, not passing the boards isn't considered a failure, rather it's just a matter of studying even more. Obviously i had to study a lot but in the end i reached my goal. It's a total blessing when you get your results in the mail and get the "blue" letter rather than the "yellow." Remember, all the hard work pays off not only mentally but also financially (hehe). Don't quit, just tell yourself that a million times in your head...DON'T QUIT!!! i finally passed and now i'm a LICENSED nurse. Stay UP my nursing community!

Congratulations! :balloons: Its wonderful to hear from people like you, who persevered after failing- even multiple times, and finally suceeded!! Thanks for providing your story here. I'm sure you have greatly encouraged other people to keep on keepin' on! :yeah:

[Many fine nurses were never the best test takers and not all top academic students have the true heart for nursing!]

One thing i'm honestly most proud of is the very fact that i failed that many times and didn't quit. That will power will always help me out in the future, i can now use what i've been through as knowledge. I feel like i can acheive any goal, even if it looks impossible, i can still try my best and attain that goal. To every nurse here, whether you're a student or licensed nurse; with all the problems you go through, know that you will always be given a chance to alleviate them. In my eyes, life is like a stage, you have to play your part. If you know your part in life, play it to the best of your ability. With that knowledge and mind set, you will succeed in anything you do. God bless everyone
