congratulations! :balloons:
wow that was fast! i'm still waiting for my results (it's been 3 weeks now). i called the brn today and they told me that they are waiting for my fingerprints. gah!! i did the livescan in june! :angryfire
If you did the Live Scan in June, then there is a problem that they never received it. I suggest that you try and get that cleared up, or you will continue to wait. Do you still have the receipt for the Live Scan? I would follow up with the DOJ and have it redone.
When I spoke to the person at the BRN, I asked if there was anything I could do to speed up the process. She told me there wasn't and that I should call check back next week. I do still have the receipt for the Live Scan. Should I go to the place where I did it and redo it? I really can't afford to pay for that again.
I just contacted the DOJ through their automated telephone number to check the status and it says that everything is complete. I don't know what else to do but wait.

congratulations!! :balloons: your perserverance has paid off! take it easy, you deserve it!!! great job, and i hope that you have many happy years as a nurse.
It could have been done but somehow the report didn't get sent to the BON, that would still say that it was done, which it was. I would take the receipt and go back to the office where you had it done and make them check to see if the report was actually sent and when...if not, and you have the receipt they should redo it for you. It doesn't take three months for the results to be sent. Just a few days at the latest. Something is missing here.
I agree that something is missing. I went to the office where I had the Live Scan done today, but the operator was not there and I was told that she would be there tomorrow. So, I will go back and try that. I also asked the clerk if this was something that happens very often and she told me it happens all the time (scans get lost). I will keep on it until I get an answer.
Thanks Suzanne.
