I am so so upset..i failed my NCLEX Rn for the 5th time! I tested on July 21st and i found out two days later...i am completely devestated im lost for words and thought. When i saw on the screen that it said failed my whole body went limp and numb. I felt like i had a panic attack. I wanted to thank everyone who gave me their blessings before i took the test. I guess it just isn't meant to be yet. i had 100 questions this time, lots of meds that i had no clue of, 2 calculation questions, 3 SATA, 2peds, 2OB (maybe), and priority.
hello to everyone on here who has had troubles passing, for I am having the same problems. i had just recently taken my test for the third time and still have not passed. i am getting very inpatient and sad but after reading some of these threads, you guys have given me hope to keep tryin. if there is anyone out there that can give us some tips on how to pass or some tips as far as how to answer the test questions, that would be great. Cause i feel like i know the material, i just dont think i have the right way of answering the question right. if anyone could help!!! thanks
Don't Dare give up, you are not alone many people share your same story. There is a time and a place for all things and every single thing that happens its done for a reason. You have come to far to be let down remain motivated and revmove this mountain that you are up against. When you go in there to test and even as you study tell yourself "No weapon formed against me shall prosper"
sugarplum,
i am about to attempt the nclex for the 4th time in october--i would strongly suggest suzanne's plan. the key is to really read the question properly to figure out exactly what the question is asking. also, when you practice questions, read and re-read the rationales to the questions you get wrong and right, not just to the questions you get wrong. once you start doing questions, and reading the rationales, you start focusing on content and critical thinking just comes to your mind each time you read a question. stay focused, try not to memorize lab values or facts, but learn them as you study your content. you made it through nursing school, and you will get past the nclex.
