I can't even pass the NCLEX what more today that the NCSBN will be making changes on April 1? they'll gonna make the passing rate even HIGHER than before. I don't know how or what am i going to do now with my studying. I already failed the nclex-rn 3 times and I am now preparing for my 4th attempt. any suggestion guys? And any april test takers there that would like to share their feeling or what are they doing to prepare for the exam?

As of April 1, 2013 NCSBN will gonna make changes in their system of NCLEX-RN according to Kaplan Review Center.

NCSBN will gonna change 2 things:

=> Test Plan = [video=youtube_share;GT8Wlp0YOs4]http://youtu.be/GT8Wlp0YOs4

=> Passing Standard = [video=youtube_share;zvKsdLilVbw]http://youtu.be/zvKsdLilVbw

or you can read the Test Plan here = https://www.ncsbn.org/2013_NCLEX_RN_Test_Plan_FAQ.pdf

I made the changes down here more simpler.

Before After

Management of Care 17%-23%---------------------Inc. by 1%

Safety and Infection Control 9%-5%----------------Inc. by 1%

Health Promotion and Maintenance 6%-12%------Same

Psychosocial Integrity 6%-12%-----------------------Same

Basic Care and Comfort 6%-12%----------------------Same

Pharmacological and Parenteral Therapy 12%-18%---Dec. by 1%

Reduction of Risk Potential 9%-15%-------------------Dec. by 1%

Physiological Adaptation 11%-17%--------------------Same

What do you think guys? Are the changes a good thing becasue they decreased the hard part questions by 1% or a bad thing because they'll gonna make the passing standard even higher than before?

@DJbeaute yep i heard and i saw a some of her videos in youtube. why?

To me I think her review is pretty simple and very explicit so I wonder if anybody here has done it ....

I ordered her quick facts book & I LOVE IT

What do you love about it ? Is it q&a only or more ?

It's Q&A & 100 must know drugs for NCLEX. Some of the stuff in it I saw on my previous failed nclex attempts. It's straight to the point

The quick facts is not enough to help you pass, It only cover certain things. But overall its a good tool.

I definitely agree. It's good as a supplemental to your other resources. I'm using it in addition to my other study materials
