I called in sick today, they didn't accept it.

This how desperate things are getting. I'm sick can't go in today. But so many others have called off that my call off wasn't accepted. What does that mean? I have to work sick? They are sending the nursing squad to my home and escorted me to work by force? We can't be sick. That's it. Work until you drop dead.

Fair enough and I am so tired of Trump and we shouldn't dwell on him.  But part of healing is talking about it, not dwelling on it, but talking about it and letting it go.

I try to always focus on the positives - not always easy to do -but when all else fails I go to my greenhouse and look at the flowers.

Isn’t it interesting how they tell you NOT to come to work if you are sick, but when you ARE sick they want you to come to work? We aren’t super beings, we are human snd have emergencies just like “ regular” folk.

 I do try to keep gratitude front and center and am not an overly negative person.   But sometimes I have to process and acknowledge and talk about the negative to get it out of my life.  I'm a realist that way and it's to the detriment of my mood sometimes because the current state of affairs depresses me.
