I am glad to share my happiness with you all. I got an e-mail from USCIS today. My I-485 got approval. All the best to those who are awaiting.

I was thinking that all applicants' I-140 from the West Coast are being sent by NSC to TSC. Is it this so or it is random?
not true.....im in NY but my applications were fortunately re-sent from nebraska to texas

All I-140 petitions regardless of state would have to be sent to NSC then NSC may choose to transfer it to TSC or do it themselves depending on their workload. So, it is only NSC and TSC that adjucates the I-140 petitions as what jonRNMD said while the non-immigrant petitions are adjucated by CSC or VSC.
It is now bi-specialization, unlike before where it is based on geography.

I only have an I-140 application, and my receipt date was June 28. I still dont have an approval. With the retrogression, well, I dont know when I will get an approval. I just want to ask if the I-485 is only for those who are already in the US or do I still need to apply for that. Im currently in the Phil.

I-485 is for those who are already in the USA. U can not apply for I-485 if u are outside the USA.
