I failed my NCLEX on the first try and now are getting back in track of studying on weak areas and what not.
I noticed that i needed some content and also strategy, so i decided to do Hurst first all lectures to refresh and then Kaplan for question strategy to prepare to retake.
Can someone tell me if they have used the same strategy and if they have, has this worked for you ?
I just reviewed the Electrolyte and Fluids and Orthopedics because i am terrible in those, and i felt like i had forgotten so much ferom school already.
Anyway, after the review i felt like i understood so much more.

deimysvigilRN how are you? did you find your nursing job!!! my exam is tomorrow at 2 pm (eastern time) I just came to library to review do the last SATA exam and I will be doing from each category few questions like you did to feel comfortable and aware of the type of the questions! I will review my labs & infection control too! I completed 97% of Qbanks and my last Qtrainer was 60% I completed 90% of the chapters from PDA! Thank you guys so much so happy to be in this group you guys are like my family :)
I've been reading this post and love the connection your guys have. Nursing school is certainly a very lonely road sometimes. I'm entering my final semester and already reviewing for the NCLEX. kinda hard to ignore really. Good luck to you hmahdoui. I'll be praying for you.
kpereira thank you! stay positive and good luck in your last semester! Nursing school wasn't easy for me I worked two jobs! I had to quit my hospital job to stay in one job!
I finished SATA my score was 50% which is I am not discouraged! I am getting much better from first time which was like 15%.. I am done doing questions so I decided to listen to Readiness test online questions and answers review some strategy and go over the questions again!! Review labs, ABG and Infection & control..

I am sitting in parking lot, it took me 2.5 hours I completed 75 questions majority of my exam were priority, follow up, intervene I got only 5-7 SATA few infection 1 OB few peds and multidisiplnary questions! No math no EKG no ABG only labs..I will not do pvt I'll wait for 48 hours results but I did my best took my time and I ate snickers at my 50 questions break :) I will update you but thank you for the support!
