Humana Employees

I have recently applied for a position with Humana. I have read a lot of negative comments on glass door from previous employees, but not much information on RNs that work for Humana. Can anyone give any insight?

Thanks so much,

Cindy

I have a video interview this week for an at home cares manager position with Humana..I am very nervous and was wondering if anyone could give me some insight on how these interviews go? What kinds of questions are asking during the interview? Thanks

I have a question about internet connection with this Humana care manager position. I had the 1st interview today with a video interview scheduled for next week. During the interview the interviewer asked about having dsl. I was sure I could get dsl, but I have fiberoptic and I called my company to ask about getting dsl and it isn't available! Anyone that is a care manager out there have fiberoptic connection or is fiberoptic suitable for this position? Anyone have any insight on this?

I have an offer for a Humana Cares manager position. How did you find the training and how has your experience been working from home. Is there any flexibility. Any additional information you can provide would be so helpful! Thanks for your time.

As an independent contractor, is that mean you were hired by an agency, get insurance and benefits through the agency, and it is a temp to hire kind of situation?

If that is the case I would run unless I was desperate, at least at a hospital I should be basically guaranteed a permanent position, benefits, etc.

Does anyone know if the training dates are flexible? The date they told me is June 22, I'd like to give more notice then that

thanks in advance !

I have recently been hired by a private company as a care manager for Humana. I will be paid on a flat rate basis when I see the clients in person each week. Just wondering if others are working at flat rate and how they like the position, is this job is manageable? This could be good and bad I guess. The job is flexible and I am permitted to agree on how many clients I want. So I will not have a large case load. Thanks

I recently started as a Care Manager for Humana at Home

How is it going for you?

I work for an agency and make $45 per client and .21 cents a mile but I know that if Humana had responded to my IC requests, I would have been making more. I would like to hear from Humana IC's. Do you get additional pay over the $300 for incidentals? Does the $300 cover everything?

Hi, I know you posted this a year ago. Wondering if you decided to take the independent contractor position with humana and if/how you like. I can't find any reviews on it and am getting nervous as I'm waiting for the background check to go through. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

I am in the process of signing on directly with Humana for a contract RN Care Manager position. Would love input from other contract Care Managers. I talked to a couple of staffing agencies but when I contacted Humana directly I found out they offered double per client per month. I'm hoping to only pick up a few clients a month. Wondering about job satisfaction the contract route.

My question was for you momrnof2 and any of the others that were talking about this position. Thank you
