HRSA 2021-2022

I haven't seen anyone start a thread about applying for this year's HRSA scholarships. I am waiting to see if I am accepted into a school in IL (fingers crossed!) and then I am going to start my application process for HRSA. The program I am applying to is a 16 months ABSN that starts in august! what about you all?

Have you been accepted some where yet? Still in the application process? Already started the Scholarship application?

What does the finalist email say?

Right after my inquiry I got a message from Experian saying I had a raise in my credit limit. I wonder if that’s a good thing.

Same here. No credit check, EFC 0, no status change, no email. Masters program. Trying to remain hopeful!

Thank you , I got an finalist email around 2 PM, I feel like more emails will be coming because they gave us an option to accept our consideration as a finalist or decline , I’m accepting mine , waiting for my director to verify my enrollment before the deadline. So I’m guessing if someone declines or doesn’t submit their required documents by the deadline they will do a second round . DO not lose hope , everyone is still in the running ❤️I’m really grateful at the moment and hope I get selected as one of the finialist who receive the scholarship ? so that’s the scary part too , waiting for the official approval ✅

The deadline is August 13, next Friday. There's a W-4 form to complete and verification of enrollment for the Summer and fall forms

I received my credit check and finalist email at 10am this morning. My efc is 0 and GPA 3.93. I'm going to be a psych NP student. Congrats everyone who got the finalist!

Does anyone know if the finalist means that the credit was for sure acceptable? I get paranoid because my credit is bad, is there a chance they can deny me because of credit even after finalist email?

I also applied the last day of the extension and haven't heard back anything. I'm wondering if that could be a factor!
