I know it is entirely too early but I wanted to get a thread going for all of you who are planning to apply for the NSP this upcoming year. I know it is becoming more and more popular and there are always questions and people wanting to share experiences and such so I hope this thread will become helpful! I have signed up to get the alert for when the application is available for the 2013-2014 FY and hope to meet others who will be applying as well.
Wish I would have seen that before I turned in my application. Mine still says Under Review but I think everyone that didn't get the finalist letter has that. I don't want to be negative but I have to say I'm starting to feel very disappointed.
Stay positive! Better "under review" than "no longer under review". We still have 21 days to pray and keep a positive attitude, knowing that we all turned in stellar applications!
Hi Monroe025 I hope all is well. I want you to know this that God never leave nor forsake anyone. What God has for you will always be for you. Please donot lose faith. We all have the chance it's up to us to believe and know that God got everything under control. I understand where you are coming from I am anxious too and it is hard to know you applied for something to see nothing come to pass. One thing I am going to tell you is donot lose faith, hold on, be strong, and know God got it all under control.
Sorry if someone already answered this, but has anyone been officially rejected yet? Its sounding like everyone who hasn't been awarded the scholarship yet, still has it saying "Under Review" on the website. I was wondering if anyone out there who met all the qualifications and at one time had their application listed as "Under Review" now has it listed as being rejected or whatever wording they use to reject us.
Same here. I just called them again and was told that they are still giving scholarships and if there was a problem with something technical as in someone had defaulted on a loan before they would've have probably already said they wouldn't be receiving the loan. You could get a Buckingham palace guard to give out more info than the tight lipped nurse corps scholarship customer service reps. Fingers crossed.

How did you know about that website? That's crazy it has all the reviewer instructions. I'm with you, if you haven't got a letter yet, let's hope your financial aid and student loans are in order. That sucks...
