I know it is entirely too early but I wanted to get a thread going for all of you who are planning to apply for the NSP this upcoming year. I know it is becoming more and more popular and there are always questions and people wanting to share experiences and such so I hope this thread will become helpful! I have signed up to get the alert for when the application is available for the 2013-2014 FY and hope to meet others who will be applying as well.

Also, I was offered the scholarship. From CA with an EFC above 5,500.

Thanks Nurzz. I had never seen anyone on any of these sites with an EFC above 5500 get the scholarship. Mine is barely above 5500 so I'm worried that I won't even be considered since I'm not in the 0-5500 range.

Received a email this morning saying that I am a finalist for the award. I'm so excited I don't know what to do with myself. :)
