2012-2013 HRSA Nursing Scholarship Application

The application process hasn't even started yet but I didn't even find out about last year's scholarship until a couple days before the deadline. I did get my application in on time but was not fortunate enough to be a recipient. I intend to apply again for the upcoming scholarship. Any tips from those that were accepted? My EFC is 0, I'm in an undergraduate program, and my GPA is 3.4.

Ugh!! I just want it all wrapped up. On thursday I got an email from my caseworker (i emailed him earlier in the week). He said that they have still not released any awards, but are hoping to do it "any day now". I really thought that would be Friday of last week....oh well. Is there anyone else out there from MA? We all have a caseworker, and they are assigned to us according to state. He says we will get an email welcoming us and with a welcome packet. Anyone out there that didnt get an initial email but has had a change in status? From what I was told thru financial aid, they were still looking to give out more awards, just wondering if that were actually the case....fingers crossed we get emails this week!!!

I'm from MA, and like everyone else, am surprised by the existence of a case worker. Can't wait to get that email!

Don't be too discouraged. It can also mean that IT is upgrading the server to handle more traffic capacity - eg us

i called someone in the call center, and said that my school needed confirmation for me to start classes. they took my info and had my caseworker call my financial aid guy and he sent him an email and cc'ed me on it. this is how i was able to find out who he was. i emailed him last week, he emailed me back. his name is richard callahan. where are you in mass?

Check the site! I have to sign in as a Participant now! Looks official. I have to go to clinical now so I can't explore but I'm excited that it's changed over!

I am now a scholarship participant! Hve an I.d number, my graduation date is there, Bank info, etc

Yup, got it, thank god. I can't find the Invoice Information they refer to, though.

I see my award letter and contract but no invoice. maybe it's not up yet. I didn't even get the official email yet, I just logged onto the participant site so maybe it's coming.

Scratch that, got the email 10:30 and still don't see it
