2019-2020 HRSA Nursing Corps Scholarship

I can't seem to find a thread on the latest round of Nurse Corps Applications, So I'll start. My initial point is more of me venting, but guess I'll ask - Should I even continue with my application? The new cycle and FAFSA wants us to use 2017 tax info, but in 2017, I was preparing for school and was employed full-time. Now that I'm collecting pennies and in dire need of assistance, it looks like my EFC is almost 8000. I can rarely work in reality. I'm really disheartened and confused as to why the FAFSA is set up like that.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

Not yet. I’m still in final review, I think I’m going to let go and let God at this point. I can’t keep checking, it’s messing with my anxiety ??.

Nothing yet, but I was contacted last week to send in a pdf of my RN license. Someone who was doing my final review of verification documents reached out for it. I sent it in on Friday.

Both of mine still say "Under review". I had a credit check on July 15th. Does yours say "Final review"? when did yours change from "under review" to "final review" ?

Mines changed from "under review" to "finalist" when I recieved my finalists email. Then changed from "finalist" to " in final review" once I uploaded school verification and W-4. I'm still sitting "in final review"

Nothing here either. I did get a call a week ago to verify address for the reward letter.

I included a school verification when I applied. is there another school verification after becoming a finalist?

also has anyone received a denial letter?

There were two verification forms I had to fill out after becoming a finalist.

Yes, your school has to fill out another enrollment form after you become a finalist, that has to be submitted with W-4
