HRSA- Nurse Corps 2025

Hey y'all, looking forward to hearing from yall. The Nurse Corps application for 2025 should open up anytime now!

I applied for the nurse corp loan repayment and had my credit checked on Friday but it doesn't show anything else for my application. Applied last year and had credit checked twice and was denied.

How exactly is everyone checking their credit to see if an inquiry was made?

So the loan repayment and the nurse scholarship have their credit run differently. They don't run the credit for the scholarship and for repayment at the same time.

If you have a credit card, you can check your credit report or use Expedian or credit karma to check. I get an email from my credit monitoring whenever an inquiry is made.

Right I definitely understand that, but still wanting to know how everyone is looking at soft inquiries. Like what app/website.

So from what I've seen and it could be wrong, these are soft inquiries though, not hard inquiries. My credit card and credit karma only show hard inquiries.

Mine was not a soft inquiry. I get alerts from experian when my credit is checked.

I just checked my credit report ...I didn't see any inquiry from HRSA...what would it be listed as?

I was wondering if someone might know how they evaluate the credit report? My credit is messed up because of divorce. It's not finalized yet, but he is to take several of the debts - ones that show up on my credit report. I'm concerned this will keep me from qualifying for this scholarship. Does anyone know anything about it? or know what I could do to fix it?

It's not about your credit score. It's just making sure you haven't defaulted on any federal loans or things like that

None on my end.....checked Experian this morning...no credit check for me...still hoping for an update soon.
