Hey y'all, looking forward to hearing from yall. The Nurse Corps application for 2025 should open up anytime now!

From what I've read people usually know the credit check was done from credits alerts like Experian, transunion, or even credit Karma. U would have an account with them of course. Im assuming it would be HRSA or nurse corp/gov
I'm able to get into my account no issues. I was listed as under review a week after I applied. I got a random email saying it was under review about two weeks ago. No change since then. I haven't received a credit check or any COI. I'm hoping that's not a bad sign as my SSI was negative, and I could use this scholarship. I'm getting even more anxious given there are a lot of people receiving credit checks and COI emails. Does anyone know if they do the waves based on last name? Anyone who has gotten the scholarship, can you chime in and let me know how the timeline was? Am I still in the running you think?

Same boat as you, from what I can tell reading through the forums for the last couple of years it seems like the first batch is like the first choice/top people for the scholarship, then they wait to see how many of them accept the intent thing, then if there are a lot of people who don't they go through and do another round. Someone just got their credit checked recently above so maybe they're already doing that. It's not over until it's over but based on past years it does seem very unlikely for those of us who haven't had a credit check at this point.
Following up on that, so much of the funding got slashed this year by the powers that be in the government that it seems like it will be a record low number of scholarships issued in the first place, so I'm not sure how reliable past year information even is anymore.

Nothing my way. I did just see someone on FB say she got the finalist email this morning. I'm honestly not expecting to get it and trying not to dwell on it.
