However, People are receiving "confirmation of interest " emails as finalist but its not over until 30th of September. SAI is the student aid index which is a number that indicates a student financial needs. Negative in front of that number would indicate a greater financial need and etc! You should find it on fasa site or download the HRSA application that was submitted and should find it there also. Hope this helps!
Thanks so much for the information! When I applied, I was working part time as a nurse, so my SAI seems really high. However, I'm now working per diem and my income has changed considerably. I called HRSA this morning and asked if I could update my SAI, but they said that once the application is submitted no changes can occur. They also said that the look at applications holistically, so the SAI number is only one of many facets they consider. We'll see! The wait continues! 🙂

Yup, the wait continues 😩
Is there anyone that is in NP school received the finalist email? Also anyone that has received the scholarship before?
I received the scholarship for my undergraduate degree and applied for graduate. My SAI is negative. I am OB certified I'm going to CNM/WHNP school so I'm hoping there is still funding for the specialty.
I am a nervous wreck right now.

That's what I've been wondering as well. So far I've only seen RN students. I'm also in NP school and praying to get this. Fingers crossed for us!

I'm in NP school for psych currently and seeking funding for one year. Haven't heard anything other than my application is under review.
