Nothing my way. I did just see someone on FB say she got the finalist email this morning. I'm honestly not expecting to get it and trying not to dwell on it.

Same.  I've been stressing for months.  Time to just refocus and keep my head down.  Hope you do well in your program though!

Has anybody heard anything ?

Nothing as of yet.  I realized late that one of my reference letters was not academic.  I didn't have access to anyone who knew anything about my academic performance because I got my degree 10 years ago.  I'm almost 100% sure that will disqualify me for not having the right materials in the application, so I may not be the best reference for movement.  Hope you hear back soon!

Hey Johnathan— next time you can use professors that you did your pre read with. That's what I did. I used my chem professor only knew him for 3 months (online fast paced chem class) & he was more than willing to do the reference letters . Some  professors just understand! Good luck with everything!

I don't believe either of mine where academic they were both professional references. Providers I worked with and under. But I received the COI email at the beginning of Aug. so I think you still have a shot I wouldn't give up to fast

I'm hopeful.  I still haven't received a COI yet.  I'm worried still because my SAI was -1500 and I'm homeless in a homeless assistance program.  All I've gotten at this point was a random email stating my application was under review back in July.  My status was under review since April.  I don't understand this process, or when we get potential COIs.  I could really use this scholarship for many reasons, but it's out of my hands.  Fingers crossed!

Yes fingers crossed .. please also look into wioa programs in your state. They pay for your college tuition as well!

you're fine. it says specifically one should be academic and one should be non-academic. sounds like thats what you did. and even if not im sure its not black and white, its case by case.

Both of mine were non-academic.  One professional and one personal reference.  Oh well, I guess I'll find out soon enough.  The site is undergoing maint. so maybe the next batch is about to post soon.

HI guys! I received my COI email today, and returned my verification of enrollment forms already. I did not receive a credit check though. Should I be worried?
