Nursing Students General Students

I havent seen a thread yet on this year's nurse corps application cycle & my anxiety has made me start one. I'm finishing up my application and should be done with it by today. I know its extremely competitive so honestly I dont think I'll get it but its worth a try! Who else has applied/is applying?

I applied as well, I'm new to nursing but missed the deadline last year. The first thing I noticed about this year was, the time frame to submit the application was shorter. Last year I believe students had until the end of May?

The application deadline this year was originally April 30. I wonder what made them extend it until may 8

I’m starting a Masters degree in PMHNP program this fall

Does anyone know how many people are accepted each cycle?

That's what I was thinking as soon as I saw the deadline LOL. I was like oh, they're not playing around this year! I read the thread from last year and right some of those people didn't find out that they were even accepted until September, I hope I won't be biting my nails that long LOL

LOL me either!! I really need it?

I applied as well!! I am super nervous !!

Hi everyone! I submitted an application too! I’m starting an accelerated BSN in the fall.

Hey guys! So so glad this thread got started. I applied before the 30th of April and have been anxious about this entire waiting process! If we do not hear until September, I guess I will need to get a loan....

Last year, 7000 people applied for a little over 200 scholarships

I spoke with someone from customer service .. she doesn’t know how many people applied this year but it’s always a couple of thousand & about 10-12% get accepted. incase anyone else was wondering

I am so worried that with the COVID-19 pandemic the numbers will change. Also, I spoke to a current participant who said she believed 3,000 people applied last year and about 220 received it.
