Hello everyone, This is my second time applying for this scholarship and hope to get it this time around. I got accepted into Pace nursing program fall of last year but because of lack of funds I had to postpone it for this fall. My overall GPA Is 3.4 and I have EFC of 0. I submitted my application today and now the waiting game begins:nailbiting:. Wish everyone good luck!!!!

Hello! If you didn't receive an email notification from Credit Karma create an account with them and check your Credit Score Center. I didn't get an email, but when I login I can see 1 credit history from the Dept of Heal.

Ok, now I'm really nervous! I signed up for Credit Karma as recommended by many of you, and I don't see any credit checks by Dept of Heal. Where are you guys finding the info about the recipients from previous years??? I desperately want to check out their EFCs, GPAs, etc...thanks!

I've just been perusing threads of the same sort from previous years.

If you are like me and have been checking credit karma, it only updates once a week from the last time you checked (99% certain).

I checked mine on Tuesday and there was nothing, so hopefully there will be a check on there next Tuesday. It's exciting to see that people are getting checks though.

Yes, you are correct. I checked mine yesterday morning (very early- 6am) so now I have to wait until the seventh before anything will appear/update.

Hi everyone! I received an email stating that I am a finalist for the award. One I log into the email, it asks me submit w4, verification of enrollment, and bank account info. My last name starts with A...not sure if thats why I heard back so soon. Good luck!!!!!!

I'll be able to check mine again on the 5th. Thankfully I have finals coming up next week, so my mind will be occupied studying.
