Have you guys heard what the application cycle looks like this year for NHSC applicants? As far as #s?

This may be pure conjecture. I don't remember where I heard this from, but aprox 5000 applicants and 150 scholarships.

A while ago I was able to find the HRSA budget. I don't know what you call it but it's the official funding allocated from the federal govt. It was slashed up and down. Compared to last year most line items were defunded and the money was moved to an opioid crisis budget. Still for HRSA and the scholarships and loan repayments, but also the total budget was cut significantly. I wish healthcare was not political.
