Is this a good offer for full-time home health? I have no experience in home health care.....I accepted the offer because I thought it was reasonable, any thoughts or oh pinions?

If the position truly is "salaried" I'd be careful to clarify what your hours would be. If the pay would be about $37.50/hr based on a 40 hour work week, keep in mind that "salaried" usually means you are not guaranteed a 40 hour/week limit. If that ends up being a 60 hour week (which is the case with many of the salaried nurses I know) then you're looking at only $25/hour.
OTOH you can use this opportunity as a way to obtain HHA experience and get your speed up, then if the hours are unreasonable you can find another HHA job.
I prefer to be paid by the visit, hourly would lock me in and salary has potential to over work you depending on your employer. (I've been salaried and I wasn't expected to work beyond reason.)
As it is I make more by PPV and enjoy flex time. Though honestly that part doesn't come until you got things dialed in. The first 6 mos back to work I worked some long days.
I am not sure where you all are from, but A. a new nurse would NEVER make that here (not even a BSN RN) in home health or a hospital. B. There is a huge difference between home health and hospital/facility work. You have to be able and want to be autonomous. Many people love it many hate it. I can speak as a newer nurse-a lowly ADN at that! My first job was in a SNF/TCU and it was hourly $23.00/ with a $1.00 diff. for evening (my shift) and $2.00 for w/e (which I also did) so a whopping $26.00/hr! In my private duty home care position I make $35.00/hour. I have been in home care since graduating and I currently make $31.71/hourly for a baylor position, with overrides and hourly on-call pay as well. I am not sure what nurses make in the hospital here but I was told recently that the new grads started around $24 before diff. They only hire BSN RN's. I personally love home care because it is flexible, I love autonomy and I am not regulated to a "shift" per se. Good luck!
What are you paid per visit? If you don't mind sharing, because I know our per visits are low!
Thanks!

$65/$130/and in between depending on type of visit. Non Bay Area California.
WOW!! That is awesome! I am hospice and for a per visit during the reg work day it is $40!, call outs at night (my job) have an additional pay on top of hourly on call and I *think* its $125. I am in MA.
Where in Cali are you? My future son in law is from Cali, but way way up north, not on the shore...I can think of it, hang on...he is from a small town called bridgeville I believe, with the nearest "town" where you can shop etc being 3 hours and that is either eureka or arcata. I'd love to see Cali!
Just be sure there is an agreement with the terms. What will your quota? Be sure you are clear on your compensation for over productivity
Most salary positions do not compensate for any OT aka over productivity, unless it is on a per visit basis on call. This has been my experience anyway and is why where I am currently employed in our union contract it is spelled out explicitly what our hourly pay is, what we are paid for OT, on call, call outs etc.
Good luck!!!
26 patients a week is really good. The RN's that I work with have to do 30. I just started home health myself but I am questioning it. I get paid per visit ( I am an LPN working towards my RN this summer) but they expect me to do a ton of paperwork that the agency nurses do not have to do. They say because I am staff.

If $37.50 is a reasonable hourly wage in your area (based on a salaried day so max income will be $300/day) then it will only be fair if you average 5 revisit units/day. Anything above that and they're getting the good deal.
