I need a ton of review, but I'm following their study guide. I don't know for sure how personalized it actually is but mine covers the entire book in 6 weeks with studying 5 days per week. I'm reading the chapter and then doing the questions at the end in the book. If those don't go well, I'll go over the chapter again and use the CD to supplement with a quiz or two in the areas I'm working on.
I gave the book away and used the CD only. I just picked a category and took all the questions. After you answer the question you read the rational. Thats all there is to it. If you did this with all the questions there is not way you could fail test if you graduated a good nursing program.
i answered chapter questions first and read the chapters only if didnt score well. once i got to the system chapters, i tried to answer all the cd questions pertaining to the particular system (study mode) especially if i didnt feel confident regarding that system.
once i finished the saunders comprehensive, folloewed it up with the Q&A saunders book. very complimentary since the questions are divided per category as categorized in the nclex. it gives a different form of feedback.
good luck.
The best way to use Saunders, is to take the assessment test on the CD and go over your strenghts and weaknesses. You will get a 6-week calendar to follow and you must stick to it. With the calendar planning, you will use the book for contents and take an exam at the end of each section. Good luck.

I'm having trouble figuring out ways to use Saunders. I know this book is really recommended but it is so much information and so long. How are you gys using the Saunders book? How many hours, are you reading word from word? Just doing the questions. HELP!!! I like the book but its so long and I want to use it though to benefit me.
