  5. Hi Debbie, We had talked awhile back and lost touch. My name was lilangie22 but I could not remember my password and it was not working so I just decided to make a new login.
  6. i have failed the nclex-rn 5 times. as you can imagine, i do not have much confidence that i will pass the test after failing 5 times. i graduated in may 2008 and took the kaplan review course the week after graduation. after i did not pass my first time i got my money back from kaplan. i have many reivew books and people always tell me to just do questions, questions, questions. i just don't know anymore. lately, i have become very frustrated working as a nurse aide. sometimes it makes me wonder if i still want to be a nurse... but i know there is nothing else i would rather do! i have some ati review dvd's and books that i recieved from a co-worker. please give me any advice you have. any study ideas, study plan or anything will help! i am not the type of person to give up so i know with help, i can do this! :tku:
  7. Congrats RN !! That is great that you never gave up. I have take the NCLEX-RN 5 times and have been putting off taking it for the 6th time because I just don't want to fail! Do you have any advice for me? Congrats again!!!
  8. don't give up. some people are just not very good at taking tests. i have taken the nclex-rn 5 times. i was starting to wonder if nursing was for me but then i realized there is nothing i would rather do. the rewards of nursing definetly outweigh the cons. its very frustrating, i know how you feel but keep your head up!
  9. congrats!!! :nurse:that is awesome! your post gave me more confidence. i have failed the nclex-rn 5 times and i was really starting to lose confidence in myself and wondering if i am really meant to be a nurse. it gets very frustrating but that is so great that you passed!
  10. I agree, the Saunders Comprehensive Review is a good book. It also comes with a CD with 1000's of practice questions!
  11. Stay positive and keep looking. I am sure there is something out there for you!
  12. Before taking my last test on May 5th, the weak areas from the test before were reduction of risk potential and basic care and comfort. I have not recieved the informaion from the BON yet. This last time I used the Saunders Comprehensive Review and before I have used Kaplan, NCLEX-RN for dummies, Mosby's and NCLEX-RN notes Core Review & Exam Prep. I actually checked out some other books from the library before I took my test a couple times ago, although I do not remember the names of them.
  13. Congrats!!! yikes thats a lot of questions!
  14. I would read the chapters that you need review on and then just do tons of practice questions.
