You have been through a lot and you must be a very kind and thoughtful person to take the time to thank your daughter's caregivers. I wish her a speedy recovery and you hang in there mom!
Honestly, the best way to thank the nurses is just to express what is in your heart with a card or note. If you want to do more I see many families and patients get an engraved plaque that they can hang in the unit. If you are on the west coast.I know the nurses love Sees candy. We are always happy to see a few boxes of that!
A greeting card for the entire unit will suffice in most cases.
If you wish to go above and beyond in expression of gratitude, catered food for the entire unit would make an impact while maintaining ethical boundaries regarding staff gifting. Breakfast would be the most optimal catered meal because you'd catch both shifts (night shift on the way out, day shift on the way in).

About a year ago, my daughter was in a serious car accident (hit head-on by a drunk driver). She was in a coma for several months, but she has now recovered enough to move to a long-term rehab facility. I'm hoping to get some ideas for how to thank her nurses. I never would have been able to make it through this past year without them, especially being a single mom with 2 kids. They have gone above and beyond; not just for my daughter, but for my entire family. The men and women I've gotten to know in the last year are truly some of the most incredible people I've ever known. It just doesn't feel like saying 'thank you' is enough, so I would really like to do something special for them
