my test is less than 28 hours away; and, i can already feel my heart rate going up. i've have felt nauseous now for about 2 days, and when i even think about sitting down for the nclex, i feel as though i'm going to pass out. i've done my review, questions, studied, breathing and positive imagiary...and i'm still strikened with panic. how did you all handle it....

you've done everything you can do. now its time for some "you time" before your test. go for a walk, a bike ride, get a massage, call an old friend, just relax! there isnt any more studying that you can do right now.
just breathe, and relax. and you'll get through it. on the day of your test, arrive early, dont forget your att and id. just think of this like any other test when you take it, and you'll do fine. oh, and as hard as it may be- eat a good breakfast!! (and get sleep the night before!)
make sure you read all of the question, and dont just skim it. you'll miss key words that way. read over all of the answers, even if a looks correct. then reread the question, and answers, and make your best guest. remember, 2 answers can always be right, but one will be more correct.
good luck :) let us know how it goes!!

i was nervous too, but you have to relax...make yourself relax before going in. i had to preoccupy myself with work and things. when you take your test, take several huge breaths, relax a little before starting. i was so nervous, i was shaking and my heart was pounding out of my chest. i sat back in my seat, took several breaths and began. take your time too. don't read too fast. take your time. you can do this! you made it through nursing school! you can do anything!!

..at this point, I would stop studying...go out for a walk, visit friends (but only those you know would bring some more positive vibes your way). Go shopping, come back and watch films and relax. Get your papers ready and go to sleep early. The day of the test, leave earlier and don't carry any books/study material with you. That way you won't get anxious and miss questions unnecessarily. Just calm yourself down and keep saying "I'll Pass NCLEX". Hope this helps! All the best!

I'm feeling you, only 48hrs till my test and I'm a mess!!!!!!!!!! best of luck to you
thanks guys....and good luck crzymom...
i just can't stand the highs and lows of emotion...
1 minute, i'm joe cool confident, books down, ready to rent a funny movie, and take this damn test already.
in the next minute,...i'm just crying... for what appears to be no reason, and when thats over, i feel guilty...:stone like i should be studying more, that maybe these last hours will help.
the best is when i get angry... for now damn reason. i start getting angry; thinking how could my nursing program not prepare me, how could they let me slide with honors, just so i could get to this point and fail. :angryfire :angryfire
then it just starts all over again; not nec. in that order, and with periods of just plain old good confusion.
i'm just glad i have this place to read others who have gone through it!
thanks for all your support,...please send me positive vibes and prayers for tomorrow....
