How to pay NMC application fee for overseas nurses

Good day! I just received the request for application pack from the NMC, In the booklet it is said that I need to pay an application fee of 140GBP, i read that I can pay through check, bank draft or credit card. JUST THAT. There was no specific instruction on how to actually send your payment. Any overseas nurses out there who has already paid the application fee? how did you do it? if you used bank draft/personal checks, what banks do the NMC honor? Would really appreciate the help.

hi:) I'm trying to apply for registration to NMC right now.. but I don't know how.. can you help me? It says in the website that Stage 1 of application includes: pay the administration fee, sumbit the initial application form, registration certificate, passport and birth certificate.. Where shall I submit the application form and other documents (address?)?...help pls....

May I know what is the email address of the finance department? because I'm planning to pay through credit card, too..

here's the steps...

1. go to the NMC website. Click on joining the register, click trained outside Europe. Then click the link on request the application form. Download the form.

2. To be able to fill up the form, you will need your IELTS result form with you. Fill up the form then send it to the email address indicated on the bottom of it.

3. After 21 days, they will send you the application form #1 wherein you will be asked to send notarized copies of your PRC certificate, birth certificate and passport

4. Once you have send them the above documents, you can now pay the fee through credit card.

5. After paying, they will send you the application pack #2 together with the instructions on how to fill them up.

Then, that's it. After sending them the documents, you will wait 1-3 months for their decision

as I can remember, if you have seen the document, you will just fill it up in your computer through MS word. I do not remember any signature asked. But just see the document, I do not know if they changed it already.

hi.. i want to ask, is it ok if i go to uk as a domiciliary carer then take my ielts there to apply for onp? is there a difference between ielts here in the philippines and in UK?(i meet all the requirements of nmc except for the ielts score) need your reply badly.....

Hi! IELTS in the Phils is more difficult than wen u take it in the UK, this was echoed to me by a frend who took IELTS in Britain,.she did not get all 7 after 2 attempts in the Phils but she was able to get all 7 in UK.. However, there are a lot of factors that may affect the result..being prepared is the main criterion in passing the IELTS regrdless of where u want to take the exam.

Regarding the ONP, u need to have a nmc decision lettr first. This can be acquired through online application. kindly refer to the messages of rhythm or go to the NMC website.

2133 pesos.. as for the 2nd pack I was able to get hold of the documents signed by the school and the 2 referees thatswhy I sent it togther with the application form again through fedex..NMC received the docu after 3 days.. From the licensng body, I just paid for the ordinary mail but it will take 3wks to arrive in the uk..

So you can send the application form together with forms from the school and employer together in one large envelope through courier to save on courier fees? I'm on my 2nd pack now and waiting for school and employer forms to be accomplished.

yes..as long as the forms have dry seal. by the way, prc will not sign the section on gud health., you need to have the application form signed by the hospital's personnel physcian
