And there are 2 other gals in my class who are my age and one who is a few years older!! So I say go for it! This has been the BEST thing I've ever done but it will be nice to be finished! Also, my husband and our kids can't wait for me to get a paycheck again!!!

Hello!
I am 40, will be 41 when the RN program starts this Fall and will be 42 when I am finished. I am an LPN of 9 1/2 years and I am in school full time finishing up taking prerequisities and I work in a LTC facility, PRN.

This is very interesting. they(whoever they are) have said that the average age for nursing students is in the 30's.
I amcurious to see how true this is.
I am going to go to nursing school either this year or next.
I will be either 36 or 37 upon entrance. How about eveyone else?
