I graduated May 11. Got ATT May 31st. Took NCLEX June 6th and passed with 82 questions. My teachers urged us to take it within 4 weeks of graduation, but I think it just depends on the person and how prepared you feel. Just don't wait too long! You want your nursing school information to still be fresh.
I "waited" 3 months to take the test, but I would have taken it the day after graduation if I could.
Graduated in December. School sent letters of completion in January. Got my ATT in February. Scheduled my test for the earliest date available which happened to be in early March.
Passed in 75 questions and little under an hour start to finish.
Hm. Well it was scheduled for June 7th but life happened. I'm grieving a death and having an incredibly difficult time focusing on studying and just overall mental clarity. I forgot my own alarm code today. I dunno what this means for me but I know that giving patient care in my current state is probably not a good idea but I at least would like to have RN behind my name for when I am safe again. I'm so stressed out.
Do you mind me asking if you passed? I am pretty nervous. Most of my classmates are getting over 100 questions.
I did pass. I had 133 questions. I'll admit I wasn't in best form..exhausted due to only 3 hrs sleep. I was hungry.. thirsty.. no coffee..and had been running a fever the night before and the day of the test.
My LPN nclex I had gotten my ATT about 2 wks after graduation and tested two days after getting the ATT. Passed that with the minimum.

I'm kind of worried that I should have taken my boards sooner. Do you think 2 months post graduation is too long to wait? How long did you guys wait to take boards?
