4. NOT NEARLY AS MUCH AS I'M WORTH THAT'S FOR SURE!
I think I will join the crowd and move to Texas. I'm a nursing supervisor for a 142 bed SNF...make $24/hr...might get a whopping 3% raise this year..and I live on Cape Cod where the cost of living is very high. Nurses at the local hospital don't work as hard and make more money. (PS..we give better care!)

3. Adult Critical Care-staff nurse
4. base pay is $24.20/hr shift diff is $26.90/hr just recieved a 10.2% increase I also work the special weekend (all weekends but 7 weekend days per year and make $34.61/hr shift diff is $38.72/hr) I receive an additional $1.50/hr for chg pay I have benefits also. The hospital just developed a type of clinical ladder in which we get 5%-10% more pay on top of our base is application is accepted. Of course there is a lot of extra duties involved like committee work, certification etc.
