Michelle,
It depends on the school, state vs. private, etc. I go to a private university and am dropping 25K a year.

I will be attending a hospital based diploma program in Pennsylvania. It averages $8,000 a year for tuition. I haven't gone through orientation yet so I can't comment on how much books/uniforms/supplies will be--or which, if any, are included in the program cost.

Maryland here. I go to a community college and I pay out about $1200 for a regular semester and about $500-$700 for a summer semester (depending on the amount of classes I'm taking)
Books for the first semester were around $500 but since then I havn't needed so many so the costs went down.
