Hello believeallispossible,
I took it for the 4th time yesterday. I got all 265 questions and was there for just under 6hrs. It was hell after 150. I had a headache and my back ached.
I used LaCharity,Hurst review ,Saunders (for content),exam cram and 3500. I did tons and tons of questions. I had taken the Kaplan review class before my 3rd attempt but that didnt help me, maybe because I wasn't trained here.
But from everything I have been reading here, LaCharity is great as you get a lot of Prioritization questions and just keep testing yourself.
Good luck.
i took the nclex 2 times....and i practiced more questions the second time around than the first....thats what i did different...i was more confident....used kaplan...saunders q and a....lacharity... Kaplan was the most helpful b/c of their application questuons....saunders questions were ok but they were not application type........... And i used the nclex 4000 CD... what i did was do kaplan diagnostic test under real testin conditions...i also did the nclex 4000 diagnostic test....i put the results on my wall and worked on weak areas....... I memorized lab values every day and the infection ctrl mneumonics.... I studied for 6 mons about 4 hrs each day...and took my test on thevery las day my ATT was expiring.....i did 200 questions a day...and did my review from those questions...kaplan and lachrity was the most helpful b/c of their application questions....kaplan decision tree helps...
